Jorge Masvidal Expected To Miss Potential UFC 300 Return, Linked With Boxing Move: ‘I’d Say He’s Fighting Boxing’

Renato Moicano, an American Top Team teammate of welterweight fighter Jorge Masvidal, who was linking him with names like a return to combat sports in the upcoming UFC 300 main event teaser last month has dished some details about his recent training routine.

Former two-time undisputed welterweight title challenger and inaugural symbolic BMF championship winner, Masvidal announced to call time on his career just a few months ago during the UFC 284 event that took place in Florida where he is from.

After suffering a one-sided unanimous decision loss to Gilbert Burns, his fourth consecutive defeat in combat sports, Masvidal has redirected all of his attention on developing and promoting bare knuckle fighting promotion named Gamebred Fighting Championships.

However, this week earlier Masvidal posted he is “un-retired” across his social media — resulting in links to fights against a bunch of opponents including Nate Diaz , as well solely Leon Edwards within the grudge match – or perhaps BMF title fight with Justin Gaethje.

Jorge Masvidal Top Rated For Boxing Breakthrough

A Brazilian contender, Moicano is concerned though as far as a mixed martial arts comeback for Masvidal seems unlikely from him who appears to be limiting his training entirely strikingly boxing strictly.

Renato Moicano in his YouTube channel, “I see a lot of people saying that Jorge Masvidal is fighting at UFC 300 . But I’m not sure about it. I am not even sure if he will fight MMA [again]. Yesterday, I caught up with Masvidal at American Top Team. But he was not wrestling.”

“I saw him training boxing every day,” Moicano said. Hit the bags and pads every day, practicing drills. So, I’m not sure whether he is boxing or not but if there was betting options and chances to gamble it on …… ”I would bet my house that he IS.”
