There aren't many great things in sports than a big comeback in action - and ONE Championship top fighters presented some amazing ones this year.


It's really brave to recover from being hurt or not doing well. That's why people are so excited when a competitor can win after things look bad for them.


Here are five best returns from ONE's mixed martial arts and striking last year. These comebacks showed the strength of these amazing athletes in both body and mind.


Lineker Knocks Out Kim in Last 4 Seconds of Fight.


Kim Jae Woong, known as "The Fighting God", seemed like he might get his biggest win ever when he went against John "Hands of Stone" Lineker in a 151-pound weight MMA fight at ONE Fight Night 13.


Kim had a fight with the past ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion, which most people thought would only happen on foot. But Kim surprised by taking Lineker to the ground in first part of round.


"The Fighting God" was on top and made things hard for Lineker, but the old Brazilian fighter used his wrestling skills to last through that round.


Then, "Hands of Stone" started the fight and began to shake off attempts to take them down while throwing strong punches.


This plan worked very well in the last bit of the game when Lineker used his tired opponent. The big strong puncher knocked Kim down with a left hook and won the fight by hitting many times on the floor.


Abelardo Stops Shahruramazanov After Two Falls.


Mark "Tyson" Abelardo won his second TKO victory in a row when he fought Georgy "Tiger" Shahruramazanov. It was on ONE Friday Fights 38, and they weighed about . Follows guide to English well known words only.


But, the Russian made Abelardo a little nervous before "Tyson" was able to get back on track in round two towards the end.


Shahruramazanov threw the man from New Zealand with almost matching spinning wheel kicks in rounds one and two, then chased him to keep going.


Somehow, Abelardo found the strength to stand up a second time. There he landed a strong left hook on "Tiger's" jaw and won with TKO by using ground-and-pound techniques.


Freymanov Comes Back After First Scary Moment to Win Zoltsetseg.


It didn't take long for Shinechagtga Zoltsetseg to make Ilya Freymanov fall on the mat in their lightweight MMA fight.


The Mongolian fighter hit Freymanov with lots of punches, trying to finish him quickly in under 30 seconds. But the strong Russian did not give up and stood back on his feet again.


Back then, the 28-year old began to hit hard with her knees and made his enemy feel the floor on their back.


Unlike his competitor, Freymanov didn't let the Zorky MMA guy escape. At first, he hit him hard with powerful punches. Then, he quickly jumped into a rear-naked choke to win by tapping out in their quick but wild fight.


Lobo Beats Saemapetch After Falling On Ground:


It seemed like Saemapetch Fairtex would win his bantamweight Muay Thai fight against Felipe "Demolition Man" Lobo at ONE Fight Night 9. But the tough Brazilian fighter was not willing to give up easily.


Saemapetch kept his lead and hit "Demolition Man" in the butt with a left hook during round two. Even though Lobo bounced back, the Thai fighter kept fighting hard to try and win his third straight match.


In one last round to grab something from the match, the Brazilian kept moving forward and then he got his prize.


A strong right punch made Saemapetch's legs weak and Lobo knew it was his chance. He hit the Fairtex guy hard with many punches. The man fell down knocked out because of powerful attacks.


Ten Pow Recovers After Fall to Burn Han.


Earlier that same night, Asa "The American Ninja" Ten Pow made another amazing comeback in his 149.5-pound catchweight Muay Thai fight with Han Zi Hao.


After a quick beginning, Han knocked down "The American Ninja" with his left punch in round two.


Ten Pow got up and immediately started hitting back hard to show he wasn't planning on giving in easily.


In the third round, the American went towards his Chinese rival with a plan. He hurt him with a strong right punch and Han's legs became weak.


Ten Pow attacked with lots of blows to finish the work. Even though the 28-year-old made from very strong wood managed not to fall, the referee intervened because he felt more harm was coming his way.
